Our educational project

Agora Madrid International School belongs to the prestigious international group Globeducate, with more than 55 schools in 10 countries, and its educational project is defined by 5 distinctive elements: the International Baccalaureate as a model for the future, multilingualism, STEAM, sport and the commitment to provide our pupils with the tools to grow up as global citizens who can change the world.

IB: Un modelo de futuro

IB: An education for the future

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) is a complete and demanding curriculum accepted by the most prestigious universities in the world and develops pupils' key skills for academic, professional and personal success in an international context. Agora Madrid International School is authorised to teach the International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (DP). As an IB World School, it is an investigative, reflective, active and creative centre in a constant process of improvement.

Multilingüismo

Multilingualism

We prepare students for an international future. We offer a multilingual educational project, with linguistic immersion beyond English, enabling pupils to master the official languages alongside English, French and German. Our pupils are deeply immersed in English from the earliest years, with 50% of the subjects and activities taught in English during the Infant and Primary stages, and the language project is adapted to each school stage, incorporating new foreign languages. Pupils can take exams at the school to obtain official qualifications.

Música y expresión

STEAM: Science and Arts

Art and science through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) skills are key to children's all-round development: they bring enormous cognitive and personal benefits, as well as enhancing their communication skills. The school is part of an Official Music Conservatory, which allows its pupils to obtain the Elementary Music Degree and continue their studies. In the field of expression, our pupils have the Víctor Ullate Roche School of Performing Arts, which also operates within the school with its Sing & Dance Project.

Deportes y salud

Sports and Health

Sport is an integral part of our curriculum, instilling in our pupils a passion for sport and healthy habits so that they become physically and emotionally balanced adults. Sport promotes their socialisation and transmits values in a natural way. Our students play more than 14 different sports in their Physical Education classes and have 6 sports schools that compete in federated leagues. In addition, all pupils from Primary to 2nd ESO take part in swimming during school hours.

Shaping the world

Shaping the World

Children entering education today will graduate as young adults in 2030. We must prepare them for jobs and technologies that do not exist today, to solve problems that have not yet been foreseen. At Agora Madrid International School, as a school in the Globeducate group, we are committed to the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, which is why we have reached agreements with internationally renowned organisations such as Eco-Schools and WWF (World Wildlife Fund), driving projects to mobilise a community of over 100,000 people. We must encourage our students to take charge and shape their own future: we want them to be global citizens who can shape the world.
