Agora Madrid is now an authorized school to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP)

Agora Madrid International School now holds a new distinction in its educational offering as an IB World School. To the already established IB Diploma Programme (DP), we now add the official authorization to implement the Primary Years Programme (PYP).

The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is designed for students aged 3 to 12 and is based on a transdisciplinary curriculum framework and inquiry-based learning that fosters conceptual understanding. The PYP is an educational system where students take initiative and responsibility for their own learning, focusing on inquiry, active learning, and the development of globally-minded citizens committed to their communities.

This recognition by the International Baccalaureate Organization not only validates the rigorous, committed, and consistent work of our entire teaching and leadership team, but above all, it represents an extraordinary opportunity for our students.

IB programmes are a model for the future, helping students develop the key competencies they need for academic, professional, and personal success, and empowering them to achieve their goals in an international context.

Following this achievement, the school continues to work toward obtaining authorization to offer the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) at the Secondary level, aiming to become a full IB Continuum School.
