IB: An education for the future
The International Baccalaureate® (IB) offers a curriculum that is universally accepted by higher education institutions throughout the world.
IB programmes are demanding on the learner, but also on the training and assessment of teachers, who have at their disposal high-quality professional development activities, innovative educational frameworks and pedagogy recognised by the world's most prestigious universities.
The International Baccalaureate® (IB) is a forward-thinking educational model that focuses on developing key competences and helping students to work towards achieving academic, personal and professional success within an international context. Students are encouraged to think independently and to be self-motivated in their learning. Learning in different languages helps pupils to develop greater cultural awareness and enables them to relate to others in an increasingly globalised and constantly changing world.Agora Madrid International School is authorised to teach the International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) and is a Candidate School* for the Primary Years Programme (PYP). As an IB World School, it is a researching, reflective, active and creative centre in a constant process of improvement which aims to educate students who are committed to their future and the world around them.
For all those families interested and always as part of our passion for art in all its expressions and within the framework of the International Baccalaureate® (IB) we have developed the only International Baccalaureate specialising in Performing Arts. For this purpose we work with Víctor Ullate Roche and Nuria Sánchez, co-director of the project, as well as with a multitude of teachers who give classes and workshops in disciplines such as: Dance, Ballet, Tap or Jazz Dance as well as theatre performance, drama, or staging technique among others.
