Much More Than a Baccalaureate — A Creative and Transformative Experience
Agora Madrid International School has long been recognised as a centre for the creative arts, serving as the main hub of study for students of the Víctor Ullate Roche Sing and Dance Project. This collaboration now takes a step further by incorporating creative and performing arts into the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) through a new International Baccalaureate specialised in Performing Arts and Film.
The school has worked closely with the Víctor Ullate Roche Sing and Dance Project to develop a comprehensive programme, pioneering in our country, which enables in-depth study of the various disciplines within the field of performing arts during the Baccalaureate years. Here, each student discovers their talent and transforms it into a future, supported by academic excellence and high-level artistic training. With a 100% pass rate and students already fulfilling their dreams at international universities, on stage, and in audiovisual projects. All of this takes place under the direction of Víctor Ullate Roche, a renowned artist and an undisputed leader in the field, together with Nuria Sánchez, a musical theatre specialist with a solid career as a leading performer on Spain’s most prestigious stages.
The curriculum designed by these educators is structured to offer meaningful future opportunities, alongside the development of communication skills, personal growth and enriching experiences guaranteed by the study of performing arts.
The Sing & Dance Project is a leading institution in performing and audiovisual arts education, recognised for its ability to combine academic excellence with creativity and artistic practice. In collaboration with Agora Madrid International School, they are responsible for delivering and managing this International Baccalaureate specialised in Performing Arts and Film. Their team of professionals from the artistic and audiovisual sectors provides a comprehensive education in acting, dance, film and audiovisual production, in line with the standards of the IB Diploma Programme. Thanks to this partnership, students develop artistic and creative skills that open the doors to internationally renowned universities and arts institutions.

Who is it for?
The programme is designed for students aged 15 to 17 with a strong artistic vocation and a high level of motivation.
- Students seeking a demanding, international education without giving up academic excellence.
- Families who value a personalised and creative educational model, with continuous guidance and support.
- Young people who wish to pursue studies in Performing Arts, Film, Audiovisual Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or other fields related to Social Sciences, Humanities and the Arts.

Academic Programme
Our programme is built upon the pillars of the IB: an interdisciplinary approach, student-centred learning, the development of critical thinking, and a deeply international perspective. This is combined with a strong artistic education that allows students to express themselves, explore, and create through various performing and audiovisual languages.
Audition and personal interview process
With the aim of getting to know prospective students better, the admissions process includes a personal interview and an artistic audition. Our goal is not to assess technical level, but to evaluate each candidate’s motivation and vocation, ensuring we form a group of students with commitment, enthusiasm, and a passion for the arts.
The audition is an opportunity for applicants to showcase their artistic potential in the format that feels most comfortable to them. They may present a monologue, a song, or another artistic expression that best represents their abilities and interests. As this is a multidisciplinary programme, we place particular value on the diversity of individual talents and strengths.
If you are interested in beginning the audition process, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We will be delighted to guide you and answer any questions you may have.

Crescendo: a unique opportunity for our students
Within the International Baccalaureate specialising in Performing Arts and Film at Agora Madrid International School, students have the opportunity to participate in Crescendo, a youth theatre company composed of performers aged 12 to 16. Its mission is to bring the great classics of theatre to all audiences, with a particular focus on younger viewers, fostering a passion for the arts from an early age.
Being part of Crescendo is a transformative experience: students not only grow as performers but also develop as multidisciplinary artists. Throughout this process, they learn to appreciate every detail involved in a theatrical production: from respecting technical and stage staff to caring for costumes, props, and all elements that contribute to a high-quality performance.
Beyond the stage, Crescendo teaches students the importance of teamwork, discipline, and shared creativity—values that strengthen both their academic and artistic development, providing an additional opportunity to experience theatre as a true school of life.
Clown Quijote de la Mancha
Clown Quijote de la Mancha, the Musical is one of the most special projects linked to Crescendo and the International Baccalaureate in Performing Arts and Film, performed by students from Víctor Ullate Roche’s school as well as from Agora Madrid International School. Following its success as a resident production at the Teatro Serrano in Madrid, it has established itself as the most acclaimed family musical by critics and audiences alike, described by Cultura Mad as “a musical of exceptional quality.”
Additionally, it has been recognised with awards such as Best Family Musical OFF and the Audience Award from Broadway World Spain 2025, highlighting its impact and reception among both spectators and professionals.
